Cardiopulmonary Systems

Mission Statement (March 2009)

Promote research and education as it applies to engineering associated with cardiopulmonary systems. We aim to facilitate international collaborations by creating opportunities such as hosting conferences, symposia sessions, and workshops on timely topics related to cardiopulmonary engineering.

Update from the Chair

We will continue to add new members to our Technical Committee on Cardiopulmonary Systems.

Our committee has been helping to organize several sessions and workshops at the 2009 Annual EMBS Conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Session to primarily fall under Theme 5. Cardiovascular & Respiratory Systems Engineering. Make sure you send in papers and register soon. Note there are also a large number of exciting sessions being presented at the upcoming 2009 DMD conference; April 2009.
